Guideshanghai is part of the Bao Steel Group Shanghai International Travel Service, established in 1994, under the Shanghai Bao Steel Group.

Our company features an international staff of experienced, avid travelers working together to give customers the greatest experience in China possible. As a company extremely knowledgeable in China’s tourism industry, we are able to offer the best value for your money and provide top-quality service, accommodations, restaurants and transportation.

Which areas do you cover?

We organize all types of tours, activities and any special needs for long or short-term stays for foreigners, including travel for tourist purposes, business visits and conference arrangements in China (specializing in Shanghai) and Hong Kong.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payments through PayPal, direct deposit and wire transfer to our company account.

For specific tours, we offer an option of paying a certain portion in advance and the rest in cash upon pickup by your guide. Please contact us for more details.

What type of insurance do you offer?

All tours include accident insurance covering any type of accident while on the tour. We strongly recommend that you purchase your own travel insurance as well.

Are there any hidden costs?

There are absolutely no hidden costs. Our website lists every aspect both included and excluded from the cost.

What is your tipping policy?

We don't ask for tips, but your guide and driver would appreciate a service gratuity. Recommended proportion between guide and driver is 2:1

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy varies depending on the type of service provided.All cancellations must be sent to info@guideshanghai.com. If it is not possible for you to send us your cancellation via email, please contact us by phone (0086-21-60762551).

Please note that other cancellation policies may apply if you have made your reservation through a third party. Please contact us for more details.

In certain itineraries, are tour dates, sites and activities flexible?

We generally organize tours according to pre-planned itineraries, however dates and sites can be flexible in order to meet our travelers’ needs.

A wide range of additional sightseeing tours, activities and destinations are also available as add-ons to your itinerary at an extra cost. These will be added to the price of your tour.

What kind of meals do you offer?

All restaurants are hand picked by us to provide guests with the highest quality options featuring the local flavours of each city. Please specify if you have certain dietary requests or concerns and we will do our utmost to accommodate you.

Will there be any high-quality goods along the way available for purchase?

During the tour, you will be able to stop in boutiques and purchase your choice of teas and tea sets, silk quilts and pearls. Your guide can help you purchase them if you require assistance.

We offer a wide variety of high-quality souvenirs for purchase from our website.
