Day 1: Shanghai

  • 8:30am ~ 9:00am pick-up and tour commencement
  • Enjoy a river cruise along the famous Bund with views of the SWFC and Pearl TV Tower
  • Experience an incredible view of Shanghai atop the Oriental Pearl TV Tower
  • Partake in a lunch feast featuring the local Chinese cuisine
  • Take a stroll down Nanjing East Road pedestrian street
  • Go on a walking tour of the French Concession and its most popular area, Xin Tian Di


Bund: This symbol of Shanghai is known worldwide as the ‘gallery of international architecture.’  Its assortment of buildings standing along the Huangpu River varying in height, color and architectural design make it one of the most magnificent skylines in the world.

Oriental Pearl Tower: As the most recognizable structure in Shanghai, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower is located in the Pudong district next to the Huangpu River and opposite the Bund. It was designed by the Shanghai Modern Architectural Design Co. Ltd and is the most recognizable feature of the Pudong skyline.

Nanjing Road: Shop until you drop on China’s longest shopping street and one of the busiest in the world. There’s something for everyone in its extensive choice of stores.

Xin Tian Di: These converted hutongs comprise Shanghai’s entertainment center, a hot spot for restaurants, bars, cinema and shopping.

Day 2: Shanghai

  • Participate in a walking tour through old Shanghai
  • Visit Shanghai’s famous Yu Gardens
  • Enjoy free time in the Old Town Market
  • Partake in a lunch feast featuring the local Chinese cuisine
  • Go on a tour of the Jade Buddha Temple
  • Wander through the Shanghai Museum
  • (Optional) Acrobatics show (150RMB cost of ticket is not included in the tour price)


Yu Gardens: A famous garden of beauty and tranquillity in the heart of Shanghai built during the Ming Dynasty 400 years ago as a son’s gift to his parents

Old Town Market: Located next to Yu Gardens, this famous market is a bazaar of stores selling traditional Chinese crafts and souvenirs

Jade Buddha Temple: A beautiful Buddhist temple constructed in 1882 housing two spectacular, imported, jade, Burmese Buddhas

Shanghai Museum: Shanghai’s famous museum boasts an extensive collection of over 120,000 Chinese artistic and cultural relics

Acrobatics Show: The world famous Shanghai Acrobatic Troupe has performed around the globe and is a wonderful night out for visitors to Shanghai. Their tightly choreographed and endlessly rehearsed movements are pure art.

Day 3: Hangzhou

  • Enjoy a relaxing drive to Hangzhou (around 2.5 hours)
  • Take a riverboat cruise on the West Lake (approx 30 mins)
  • Cycle around the beautiful West Lake (Optional)
  • Tour through Lingyin Temple/ Monastery of the Hidden Souls
  • Partake in a lunch feast featuring the local Chinese cuisine
  • Visit the sublime Meijiawu Tea Plantation


The West Lake which covers an area of over 6 square kilometres, the Tianmu Mountain National Nature Reserve, together with the healthy Dragon Well green tea, are amongst the many reasons why people from Hangzhou enjoy the highest quality of life.

Lingyin Temple / Monastery Of the Hidden Souls: Lingyin Temple is one of the largest and most famous ancient Buddhist temples in China. It is also famous for its more than 470 stone carvings of Buddhist figures, dating back to the 10th Century.

Cruise on the West Lake: Lying on the western edge of Hangzhou city, West Lake is the symbol of Hangzhou as well as one of the most beautiful sights in all of China. It is often believed that once you gaze upon its beauty, you will feel as if you’ve been transported into a landscape painting.

Meijiawu Tea Plantation: Seated in the hinterland of West Lake Park, Meijiawu has long been known for its Longjing (Dragon Well) Tea. Surrounded by green mountains and the aroma of tea, relax and enjoy the serene landscape, taste the fragrant tea and appreciate the beautiful village scenery.

Day 4: Hangzhou -Xitang Watertown - Shanghai

Enjoy a relaxing 1.5 hour drive to Xitang

Xitang: a magical place of tranquil ambience and scenic beauty, is divided into eight sections by the nine rivers that converge in the town, with many stone bridges, some looking like rainbows over the river. The town features many ancient, well-preserved and beautiful buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties.
